ABOUT DOOZY DOSSIER

HOME ABOUT DOOZY DOSSIERDoozy Dossier is my platform to share  40 years’ work experience with several Multi-national companies and my three score year journey on this wonderful earth. My aim is to increase the value of my experiences through sharing so that you may avoid the hard knocks and pick up what has worked for me. In essence, I hope I can impart value-add experiences to you immediately, thus my tagline:

INSTANT EXPERIENCE BUILT OVER YEARS

There are wide ranging subjects; such as how to be popular at work and the responsibilities that come with the status, my positive experience with goal setting, how to claim happiness, self- motivation, leadership roles, getting sponsored for promotions and customer service strategies including service recovery. I will also share my extensive experience in corporate events organization, having done events for 16 to 16,000.

To provide the critical balance which is so important to a fulfilling life, I will cover on some hobby stuffs and also things I learned in overcoming personal challenges. Ultimately, like they say about success; happiness is an inside job. There are some situations in life you cannot control and the key to coming out unscathed is how you respond to the difficult situations. Not everything will come your way in life. You have just got to deal with it. Other than Doozy Dossier, I am writing at another website: www.vitalvirals.com which covers some buzzes of interest .

I hope you enjoy and gain from visiting .

Got my D610. If Nikon had announced the replacement of shutter deal for the stained D 600 two days earlier, I would have kept the pre-owned gear. Anyway, no regrets, enjoying my NAG (Newly Acquired Gear) and waiting for my Tamron 150-600. These shots are with the Nikon 70-200 f 4.

TAKE THE FIGHT OUT OF YOUR CONTRACTING JOURNEY

There is stress and tension when you contract a supplier to supplement your in-house resources. All round, both sides of the fence.  The in-house folks will feel threatened. “Tomorrow, they will take my job. I will be obsolete,” or so, they think. And it could be true.  Big corporations are always outsourcing, trying to pass …

THE MOST EFFECTIVE, LEAST TALKED ABOUT CLOSING TACTIC I HAVE LEARNED IN SALES: SHUT UP!

I remember how the late Peter Tan got me hooked to selling water filters in 1994. He used the curiosity bait. “Stu, I have got a surprise waiting for you,“ was how he opened. “What’s the surprise?” I asked. He quickly countered, “If I tell you, then it wouldn’t be a surprise, would it? “ …

WHEN IT'S GOOD TO GET SICK

WHEN IT’S GOOD TO GET SICK

The loud retching caught my attention when I came home in the wee hours of the morning, after visiting a much raved about midnight sale at a local mall. Vince did not feel good. This was his fifth vomit since a couple of hours ago and he was doubling up in pain. “Doctor said it’s …

HOW NOT TO WANT ANYTHING

HOW NOT TO WANT ANYTHING

Gear Acquisition Syndrome (G.A.S.) has taken so much away from me that I decided to go cold turkey on wanting anything.  Sometimes, we feel invincible when we are not sick, and not necessarily healthy. We gobble up those  succulent lard laden soggy pieces of barbeque pork with the heavenly flavor of the five spices like …
